Our Kindergarten

Established in 1952, Pope Road Kindergarten is a welcoming place where children, families and teachers are valued and learn together as a learning community.

Pope Road Kindergarten is a community based, public not-for-profit kindergarten for children aged 3-5 years.  The early childhood program is inspired and informed by the research and education project in Reggio Emilia, Italy, with a strong and authentic focus on the role and value of learning through relationships.

We believe children are capable, curious and competent, and our work supports and encourages children to be active and engaged co-constructors of knowledge: to have meaningful experiences and to develop a strong and positive sense of identity, place and belonging to this and a wider community. We celebrate the diversity, inclusion and equity of our community and promote each child’s right to thrive.

We have dedicated and experienced staff, beautiful surrounds and a long history of excellence.
