Established in 1952, Pope Road Kindergarten is a welcoming learning community where children, families and educators are valued and learn together.

We are a community-based, public not-for-profit kindergarten for children aged three to five years, informed by the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia, Italy, with a strong focus on learning through relationships. We have been assessed and rated ‘Exceeding’ against all seven National Quality Standards and celebrate being awarded ‘Exceeding in all 7 strands of the NQS’ for ten consecutive years. 

We believe children are curious, capable and competent learners. Our program is centred on children’s rights, and includes meaningful experiences that build children’s positive sense of identity, belonging and connection to their learning community and the wider community. Pope Road Kindergarten embraces diversity, inclusion and equity for all.

With experienced & dedicated educators, beautiful surroundings and a long history of excellence, Pope Road Kindergarten offers a participatory and supportive environment for early learning.
