Established in 1952, Pope Road Kindergarten is a welcoming learning community where children, families and educators are valued and learn together.

We are a community-based, public not-for-profit kindergarten for children aged three to five years, inspired by the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia, Italy, with a strong focus on learning through relationships. We are continually ranked ‘Exceeding’ against all seven National Quality Standards and celebrate being awarded ‘Exceeding in all 7 strands of the NQS’ for ten consecutive years. 

We believe children are capable, curious and competent learners. Our program supports meaningful experiences that build identity, belonging and connection to the wider community, while celebrating diversity, inclusion and equity.

With experienced educators, beautiful surroundings and a long history of excellence, Pope Road Kindergarten offers a rich and supportive environment for early learning.
